10 Easy Tips for Cleansing
Jan 02, 2024Cleansing doesn’t have to be difficult! Here are 10 easy cleaning tips for daily detoxing.
- Drink Water: Sip half your body weight of purified water daily. ex. 150lbs ¸2 = 75¸8 = 9 eight oz’s glasses of Filtered water or about 2 litres per day.
- Breathing: Try deep breathing, alternate nostril breathing and belly breathing
- Eat Your Veggies: Consume 7 – 10 servings of fresh vegetables per day to keep your body alkaline
- Fibre: Incorporate 30 grams of fibre per day from fruits and vegetables, legumes and whole grains for healthy elimination
- Sleep: Always sleep in a very dark room. This will encourage melatonin production and regulate sleep/wake cycles. Get a good 8 hours of sleep per night.
- Castor Oil Packs: Use Castor Oil Packs nightly or at least 4 nights consecutively. It is absorbed into the lymphatic circulation to provide a soothing, cleansing, and nutritive treatment.
- Dry Brushing: Dry Skin Brushing stimulates circulation and the lymphatic system. Thoroughly brush all of your skin starting from the feet using very light short stokes toward the heart, before you shower in the morning and / or before you go to bed. Use a vegetable fibre brush, natural or loofah sponge.
- Sweating: Sweating by means of Far infra red sauna or a hot Epsom salts bath.
- Daily Exercise: As another aid to circulation and lymph drainage, we recommend that you move your muscles daily. Walking, yoga, rebounder or sports; it is not necessary to focus on aerobic activity but this can be an important part of your health program.
